End of Days!!!

by Craig Price on

If you watch any of the local Houston newscasts, we’re pretty much the walking dead now, or so they would have you believe. One weatherman, hopped up on something (jonesing for a hurricane!!), used the word catastrophic several times. The ironic thing is how this particular station likes to tout how they don’t want to scare people when it comes to weathercasts, yet are usually the first to say “Catastrophic” when it comes to damage.

Oh well…I live in the Galleria area of Houston, almost literally in the shadow of the Galleria itself. So if all hell breaks loose and the stuff hits the fan here in Houston, 1. I’m not in flooding area and 2. The looting potential nearby is amazing. Morton’s The Steakhouse, Cartier, Best Buy, Kenny and Ziggy’s Deli. We’ll be okay.

Wish us luck! Because the end is nigh!

Haha. I guess you have your pick of the litter when it comes to looting. Although, make sure you bring a cooler if you plan to go to Morton’s! I love how you’re able to put such a humorous spin on something as “catastrophic” as a hurricane. At any rate, please stay safe, and don’t let the weather reports intimidate you too much.
