The Audacity of a Dope

by Craig Price on

The governor of Illinois has a huge pair of stones to try and attempt to pull off selling a senate seat. Where depression can be attributed to too much negative thinking, arrogance is due to too much positive thinking. This guy never thought he’d get caught or worse, never thought what he was doing was wrong. Look at the laundry list of crimes:

“The breadth of corruption laid out in these charges is staggering. They allege that [Illinois Gov. Rod] Blagojevich put a ‘for sale’ sign on the naming of a United States senator; involved himself personally in pay-to-play schemes with the urgency of a salesman meeting his annual sales target; and corruptly used his office in an effort to trample editorial voices of criticism.” —U.S. Atty. Patrick J. Fitzgerald

I’m tired of these swollen-egoed, money-grubbing, mentally-unstable people…running our country! Was Harvey Dent right in The Dark Night when he said” You either die a hero or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain?”

I don’t think so, but what the hell is going on with Illinois governors? 4 in the last 8 years have had charges brought against them and if these are true that would make 4 governors in prison in 8 years.

Wow.
